Robert McClintock is co-owner of the firm and the director of audit, tax and accounting services for McClintock Accountancy Corporation. He spends most of his professional time on auditing, tax, accounting and consulting engagements. He regularly assists association clients with the development of operating budgets and reserve studies and has consulted on the financial implications of the California civil code applicable to common interest developments. He has extensive experience in the tax issues associated with common interest developments, including the most recent IRS positions on such areas as dues carryovers, member expense limitations and exclusion of dues for replacement funding. Mr. McClintock regularly addresses association Boards of Directors on financial statement reporting, income tax reporting and budget reporting. He has been a unit owner in common interest developments since 1979.
Mr. McClintock currently serves as the in-charge director on substantially all of the property owner association engagements.
Mr. McClintock obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Michigan Technological University. Upon graduation, he joined Deloitte & Touche in San Francisco and was a supervising auditor with the firm through 1984. He has been employed by McClintock Accountancy Corporation since 1985.
Mr. McClintock is licensed in California and Nevada and is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
